1912 Bungalow TV Debut
Just a reminder: tomorrow (Sunday) our episode of Restoration Realities will be airing on the DIY Network. We previously blogged about the filming of the show and now you can see the results. Heather looked at some of the photos and thinks the house looks great but that she looks fat - so she is now on a diet. Personally I hope we don't come off looking like idiots.
They have a nice feature about the episode online (click on any of the photos to view larger).

Den After
This will be the last photo update of completed rooms in our house because we only have 3 rooms that we consider "done." We still have interior work to do on our back porch project.
Here are some recent photos of the room that we call our den. This room served as an office, bedroom and maybe even a music room in it's past life under previous owners. Some day we plan to add bookshelves and turn it into a library.
Looking into the den from the living room. The piano window is one of my favorite windows in the house.
Behind the entertainment center is the wall between the den and the kitchen which was in such horrible shape during the restoration.
This view was taken from our kitchen looking into the den towards the bay windows. The messy table is serving as David's compact work area.
Even though this photo is dark, I wanted to include it because it gives you a good best sense of the bay windows.
There are pocket doors between the living room and the den. You can see the living room and dining room from the den. The open door to the right of the pocket doors belongs to our kitchen.

Dining Room After
We have been asked ever so nicely to post some updated photos of our house. By special request here are some recent photos of our dining room.

Our built-in china cabinet.

Another shot of our dining room taken from the living room. That is a rare glimpse of David's cat, Milo. We call him the gray ghost because we can go for days without seeing him but find tufts of his gray fur left behind on our furniture.
On the right side of the picture, directly above the cat, you can see some sample paint colors we are testing out for the little hallway between the dining room and the kitchen. Yes, I'm at it again.
Older photos of our dining room can be viewed here.
